Getting Started: Stores
Stores are the foundation of the app. It's within these entities that the products, services, orders and sales are stored. That's why the first step right after the first access is to create a store.
They are called "stores" just as a reference, but they can be any business you own -- not necessarily a store. They can represent anything from a consultancy office to a virtual clothing store.
Is it mandatory to create a store?
Yes. Since all parts of the app are stored within them, it is vital that there is at least one store. Therefore, it is not possible to skip the initial step of creating a store, nor to delete all stores and still use the features.
How to create a store?
To create your store you must name it and choose a currency. After creating your store, you can add an image as a logo to identify it more easily, but it's optional.
The store's currency is reflected on all sales and products you create. All prices and values will automatically have the same store currency, it is not possible to create a product or record sales in a different currency inside the same store. To do so, it is necessary that you convert it to your store's currency beforehand and then register, or create a second store with the desired currency.
All major global currencies and most minor ones are available to choose from.
Is it possible to create multiple stores?
After creating your first store, you can create as many other stores as you like. Just tap the last tab ("Profile"), "Manage Stores" and then tap the + button at the top.
How to edit a store?
It's easy to edit a store's details:
- Go to the home screen
- Tap the last tab ("Profile")
- In the stores section, tap "Manage Stores"
- Tap the pencil icon on the far right of your screen
- Change what you want and tap the "Save" button
Can I change my store's currency?
Although we do not recommend changing the currency of a store with registered products and sales, it is possible to change it. However, the conversion of values to the new currency does not happen automatically. Only the currency unit is changed in the registered items, the conversion will need to be done manually.
